Minimalist game race with an LED strip

We have created a new concept in racing games, a combination of the classic Slot cars, with the modern technology of intelligent LEDs.

It was born as an activity for the Arduino Day Sevilla 2019 event, in the makerspace of Sevilla Maker Society, and has evolved as an independent project with great success in the global maker community.

In the basic game mode, is that the speed of the LED "car" is proportional to the pulsations of the control button, in the ascent ramps must be pressed more quickly to compensate for the effect of simulated gravity, but we have thought of options for other "arcade" mode in which on the track will happen things that will make you have to make decisions, fuel consumption, expenditure of tires, and must enter to boxes by a way of service and solve certain challenges to be able to continue the race. At the beginning each car is represented by two leds, and in each complete turn is increased by one led.
